I’m sorry I have not posted in a very long time. I have been working on some wax models.
This one is a heart ring I was planning to make into an engagement ring.
This is a safety pin I designed with this opal in mind.

I measured and cut This great shape our of a sheet of silver,
I then drilled holes for the 14k Rose gold prongs and soldered them in place.
At this time I placed the 14k yellow gold wire accents in place and soldered them to the silver.
Here I am checking that the stones still fit like they should.
This necklace is going to be beautiful, I can’t wait to finish it!

This piece is inspired by one of my favorite movies from my childhood Watership Down.
This piece will eventually be a brooch, but before I put the brooch back on it I want to take a mould of it.
I will be filling the eyes with red resin and the entire piece will have varying degrees of patina.
After I take a mould of this I can change what ever I want on it , like remove the spirals or change the eyes and then take a mould of that too.

I am trying to figure out how I am going to solder all these pieces together with three solder temps
The only thing missing from this picture is the bail
This is how they fit together
This is almost what it will look like with the addition of a ring for a bail and the hexagon piece of metal will be filed back and shaped

This piece will have a 3 mm blue sapphire cabochon set in the top of the crystal setting.
It will have three concentric rings around the bezel made of graduating size wire.
This pendant will be quite small and will be comfortable around the neck.

These Earrings are going to be AMAZING! I love the texture I put on the metal it will look great with a patina. I cant wait to finish them, I have a lot of things in the works waiting on a tank of acetylene.

I don’t have the right burs I need for setting the stone.
